Members of the Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball team were honored at their banquet last night.
The big announcement was Junior Sophia Luetticke being selected to the Class 3 All State Second Team Outfielder. The Junior set school season records in Runs with 40 on the season, Batting Average at .568 (5-68) and is second all time for singles in a season with 39.
Other top five record entries this season include Kinlei Boley First in RBIs with 3, Third in Batting Average at .554 and tied for third in doubles with 10. Brooke Horton tied for third in home runs with four and pitcher Halle Rucker is first in fewest hits allowed with 45.
The team finished as Conference Champions and second in Districts after losing to eventual State Runner Up Savannah in a close game.
