The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 68 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
1:43 am, Officers checking on 911 call from 1200 block of Third Street. No problem found at the residence.
2:19 am, Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person hanging around the hospital lot. The person was contacted by Officers and advised to leave the premises.
4:28 am, Officer made contact with a resident in the 1200 block of Broadway upon finding the rear hatch of a vehicle open in the driveway. The owner checked and nothing missing.
5:03 am, Officer responded to a business in the 600 block of W. Business 36 on a report of drug paraphernalia being found in a waste receptacle. The item was brought to the PD for disposal.
8:09 am, Theft of construction equipment stolen from the roadside at Polk and Grandview Streets. Investigation continuing.
9:17 am, Complaint of dog running loose in the 600 block of Jefferson Street. Dog returned to owner.
10:44 am, School Resource Officer out in 1100 block of Oak Street on school matter.
2:03 pm, Officer out in the 700 block of Vine Street for property damage to a vehicle. A tail light was broken. A report was taken.
7:28 pm, an Officer assisted a motorist at Jackson and Washington Streets. The vehicle ran out of fuel. The vehicle was pushed to the shoulder of roadway.
