The Chillicothe R-II School Board approved a policy for wearing masks in the district facilities. Superintendent Dan Wiebers explains the policy.
Wiebers says this follows Governor Parson’s Mask Guidelines released late last week. The guidelines affect who needs to be quarantined if an individual is found to have COVID-19.
If students that may have been exposed later show symptoms of the disease, they must report it and should be checked by their doctor.
The hope is to reduce the number of students and staff that are unable to be in the classroom.
