Chillicothe Police officers responded to 81 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include:
Responded to several requests to check the well being of individuals who were fine.
5:43 AM, Officer traveled to Kansas City for prisoner security and transport. Officers also traveled to St. Joseph for training.
6:30 AM, an individual came to the police department and provided a witness statement for an accident in Grundy County. Witness information relayed to Grundy County officials.
Officers checked reports of scams and harassment.
11:49 AM, Officers responded for a well-being check in the 200 block of Cowgill. They were assisted by EMS.
4:17 PM, Officer received a report of child abuse in the 1500 block of Springhill. That investigation continues.
