MEC Goes 0-2 in Show-Me Bowl

The Midland Empire Conference went 0 and 2 in the Show Me Bowl Football Championship games over the weekend.
In Class 2 Lamar won a defensive contest over Kansas City St Pius X 6 to 3.
In Class 3 Blair Oaks beat Maryville for the second time this season, winning the title over the Spoofhounds 62 to 40. Blair Oaks scored 33 points in the second quarter. Dylan Hair for Blair Oaks scored 6 touchdowns with 241 yards rushing and 141 yards passing .
Class 1 saw Windsor beat Mid-Buchanan 43 to 20 with 562 total yards of offense.
Class 4 saw Helias over Mary Institute Country Day 35-30. The Helias Quarterback ran for 131 yards and passed for 139 yards.
Class 5 had Jackson beat Platte County 42 to 7. Platte County’s only score came with 2:30 left in the game.
