An election will be held April 6th to decide school board races and the election of municipal offices in Chillicothe and other communities. Filing for those wanting to hold the offices will begin next Tuesday, December 15th.
In the Chillicothe R-II School District, there will be two seats on the ballot. Those seats are currently held by Paul Thomas and Lindy Chapman. To file for School Board offices, you will need to register at the Chillicothe School District Office. That office is currently located at 2005 Washington Street, a block or so north of Park Lane on the service road.
Other School Districts will file at their district office.
For the City of Chillicothe. All of the elected offices will be on the ballot in April. Filing for candidates for Chillicothe City Offices will take place at the City Clerks office at City Hall.
