Consumers have seen food prices climb sharply over the past year and the US Department of Agriculture says that trend will continue in 2021. Carolyn Chelius, USDA economist says prices will be generally up.
She says meats may see lower prices.
The USDA says the beef prices could drop about 2 ½% in the new year, but will still be above “pre-COVID”.
