The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report includes several investigations, accidents, and arrests.
December 16th, the School Resource Officer filed a report of two people who are not requiring their child to attend school. This is a continuation of a previous investigation.
December 16th, deputies arrested 24-year-old Dillon Lee Potter of Chillicothe on a warrant for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance.
December 19th, a deputy was on Highway 190 and stopped a vehicle near LIV 233. The driver, 43-year-old Heather Michelle Fisher of Chillicothe was arrested for alleged Driving While Intoxicated-2nd offense. She also had a child in the vehicle with her and hotline report made to Division of Family Services. Ms. Fisher was processed and released to a responsible person.
December 21st, a deputy responded to an accident and a fight on US 36, east of Chillicothe. There had been a collision between a semi and pickup and the semi continued east. The pickup driver got the semi driver to pull over near LIV 261. An argument and a fight resulted. No arrests were made. The Highway Patrol handles the accident investigation.
December 22nd, an investigation of alleged false statement(s), false report(s), and perjury, where an adult may have lied to get an innocent person charged with a crime, convicted, and incarcerated. Report being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

42-year-old Matthew Porter Griffith of Chillicothe surrendered December 16th on a warrant for alleged Probation Violation. He posted bond and was released.
33-year-old William L. Franks of Chillicothe surrendered December 17th on a warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original No Valid Driver’s License. He posted bond and was released.
