Livingston County Deputies are seeking assistance as they investigate a family pet that was shot. Sheriff Steve Cox says the incident happened Tuesday, between 6:15 am and 5:45 pm near the 7000 block of LIV 533, in the northwest part of the county.
The report states the dog had been left outside and when the owner returned home they found the pet had been shot and was in serious condition. The report also stated the injury was from a large caliber firearm.
