It will be a full day for Chillicothe High School Sports athletes today.
The Hornet wrestlers will be in competition at the Middle School Field House in the inaugural Chillicothe High School Wrestling Tournament.
The tournament will feature boys and girls teams from Hallsville, Benton, Boonville, Southern Boone, Mid-Buchanan, Savannah, Father Tolton, Marshall, Trenton, Macon, and Chillicothe.

No fans will be allowed to attend in person due to COVID fan restrictions.
Both Chillicothe varsity basketball teams will be competing today at the Lawson Tournament. The Hornet boys will face West Platte in the 3rd place game. Chillicothe lost to Gallatin in the semi-finals and West Platte lost to top-seed Richmond. Chillicothe is 6-3 and West Platte is 7-4. The game tips off at noon.
The Chillicothe Lady Hornets will play for the Championship against North Platte.
Chillicothe girls are 7-2 on the season and picked up lopsided wins over Richmond and Hamilton in the tournament.
North Platte is 8-4 and had wins over Trenton, and upset #2 Lawson in the semi-finals 50 to 48.
