Chillicothe Fire Department Receives New Ambulance

The Chillicothe Fire Department has taken delivery of a new ambulance.  Chief Eric Reeter says this is another 4 wheel drive unit.

Reeter says the new ambulance cost $238,750 and replaces a 6-year-old ambulance that had a box that was remounted once from a previous ambulance and the box was about 12 years old.

The new ambulance was purchased by the Livingston County Ambulance District and is ready for service.  It does need radios installed, but that will happen soon.
