One of the final pieces for the Demolition Grant application was approved by the Chillicothe City Council Monday. The Council approved a resolution to dedicate funding for the demolition of the houses on the list. City Clerk Roze Frampton explained.
The city also provides an additional $16,000 to the cash match.
Frampton says there is also an in-kind portion stipulated in the application.
The application will be submitted and they hope to hear back from the state in the next few months.
