A fire in an attic summoned Chillicothe Firefighters to a home at 1130 Webster. The call came in Tuesday at about 5:35 pm and the fire crew arrived in two minutes to find smoke coming from the eaves of the home. Fire was found in the attic and the fire crew used about 700 gallons of water and foam to put out the fire. Thermal imaging cameras were used to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical wiring in the attic.
The fire crew was on the scene for about one hour and twenty minutes.
