Visitors at Shafer Park will enjoy a bit more shade, thanks to an offer from Grand River Entertainment and the Mudcats. City Administrator Darin Chappell says a new Shade Structure will be built.
Chappell says they are also exploring an opportunity to honor the former Mayor – Chuck Haney.
If approved, Mayor Haney could be honored on that shade structure.
