The Farmers Electric Cooperative’s AYBF Dinner, Auction and Golf Tournament topped $45,000 this year. As already reported, the Dinner auction went very well and was well attended. Monday morning, rain threatened to delay play, but spokesperson Chasity Anderson says the tournament got underway as scheduled.
Anderson says not all the money is raised in the two fundraising events, she says many of the members also participate on a monthly basis.
The funds raised by the AYBF help kids and families in the FEC service area.
