The Chillicothe Police Department had a busy weekend, with nearly 250 calls for service from Friday through Sunday. Some of the calls include:
Friday:
5:49 AM, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 10 block of Jackson Street. They arrested a 56-year-old man for harassment.
11:05 AM, Officer arrested a woman on 2 Caldwell County traffic warrants following a traffic stop on US 36 near US 65. She posted the required bond and was released.
1:32 PM, Officer arrested a 22-year-old woman in the 600 block of Walnut Street on a Livingston County traffic warrant. She posted the required bond and was released.
6:37 PM, Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 700 block of South Washington Street. Officer reported a vehicle exiting a private drive pulled into the path of a northbound motorcycle, causing the motorcycle driver to lay the motorcycle on its side, causing minor injury to the driver and the motorcycle.
Saturday:
7:52 AM, Officer responded to a report of a two-vehicle non-injury accident in the 1500 block of North Washington Street.
10:23 AM, Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Third Street and Dickinson Street. Officer reported a southbound vehicle on Dickinson Street failed to yield and pulled into the path of a vehicle on Third Street causing minor damage.
2:58 PM, Officer received a report of an assault in the 2000 block of Redbud Lane. As a result, an 18-year-old woman was cited for assault.
9:17 PM, Officer responded to the 600 block of Jackson Street to a report of a downed power line. Officer reported the line to be a cable/phone line and the line was no danger to persons or vehicles.
Sunday:
3:15 PM, Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident in the 400 block of north Washington Street. Officer reported drivers exchanged information.
5:47 PM, Officer received a report of a sex offense in the 200 block of Park Lane. Investigation continues.
8:00 PM, Officers arrested a 28-year-old woman in the 500 block of South Washington Street on a Livingston County warrant for stealing of a firearm. She was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the posting of bond.
