State Troopers report two accidents and three arrests in the area counties Tuesday.
At about 2:10 am in Daviess County, a single-vehicle accident on Route DD, five miles south of Pattonsburg, left 34-year-old Shaun Hurt of New Hampton with moderate injuries. According to the Highway Patrol, Hurt was southbound and drove off the east side of the road, causing his vehicle to overturn, coming to rest on its top. Hurt was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was also arrested for alleged DWI with drugs and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was released for treatment.
At about 8:30 am in Sullivan County, 60-year-old Christy Fanning of Milan was injured in a single-vehicle accident. State Troopers report Fanning was northbound on Route V, five miles north of Winigan, when she ran off the left side of the road in a curve and her car overturned, coming to rest on its side. Fanning was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. She was also arrested for alleged DWI and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway. She was released for treatment.
Troopers in Caldwell County arrested 32-year-old Jonesha Broadway of Shawnee, KS on a Warren County warrant. She was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending the posting of bond.
