State Semifinal High School Basketball was last night for a few schools.
In Class 2 Boys: Salisbury beat North Andrew 64 to 42. Salisbury was led by Jackson King with 25 points, Luke Abeln with 14 and Grant Biere with 10.
North Andrew had 18 points from Tanner McDaniel.
Salisbury will play Campbell today in the Championship while North Andrew takes on Norwood for 3rd place .
In Class 2 Girls, Ellington beat Blue Eye 68 to 58. Wellington-Napoleon, which ended LeBlond’s season, has now advanced to the finals with a 34 to 24 win over Scotland County, Wellington had a strong 2nd quarter, outscoring Scotland County 16 to one.
Class 1 Semifinals are today with South Iron girls against Leeton, and Walnut Grove against Jefferson/South Nodaway girls. The South Iron Boys go against Higbee and St Elizabeth plays Mound City/Craig boys.
