Chillicothe Police Report For Monday and Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 97 calls Monday and 101 calls Tuesday.  The calls resulted in several investigations and arrests.

Monday:

09:00 AM, the Detective conducted several meetings with the Prosecutor and other business in reference to multiple investigations she is currently working. One being a major fraud investigation.

At approximately 12:30 PM, Officers responded to the area of Waples and Liberia for a pack of dogs running loose.  Officers located each dog and were able to locate the owners.  The owners were warned.

At approximately 03:00 PM, Chillicothe Dispatch received multiple calls where the caller would not speak.  The Chief and a Sergeant responded to the 1400 block of Vine Street and found a man was having medical issues and the family members assisted in the problem-solving.

At approximately 7:50 PM, Officers were requested to respond to the 1200 block of Keith Avenue in reference to stolen amber lights off of a pickup truck.

At 9:39 PM, a traffic stop in the area of Fair Street and Dorney Drive resulted in an arrest.  The driver had a Livingston County warrant for failure to appear on a seatbelt violation. They posted bond and were released.

Tuesday:

At 02:23 AM Officers in the area of Jackson Street and Commercial Street conducted a pedestrian check and arrested a 23-year-old male on a Brookfield Warrant.

At 8:00 AM, Officers took a report of a runaway juvenile from the 100 block of Bridge Street.  At 9:30 AM, Officers located the juvenile in the 200 block of Third Street.  The Juvenile Officer and parents were contacted. The juvenile was later returned to his parents.

8:28 AM, Officer received a report of illegal dumping in the 300 block of Polk Street.

2:05 PM, Officers arrested a woman in the 900 block of Elm Street on a Chillicothe Warrant for nuisance violations.  The woman was processed, posted bond, and was released with a court date.

4:57 PM, Officers arrested a 51-year-old man at a business in the 700 block of Elm for stealing.  He was processed, cited, and released.
