The Chillicothe Varsity Boys Golf team finished 5th in their own 13-team tournament at Green Hills Golf Course.
St Pius X won the team event with a 337, with Maryville 2nd with a 351.
Chillicothe shot a 356 on their home course, led by Spencer Shira with an 83, good for a tie for 7th place in the individual standings. Colby Gillespie had a 90, James Mathew a 91, Jackson Trout an 92 and Dalton Ripley a 101.
An Orrick Golfer was medalist with a 71, one stroke better than a St Pius X Golfer. Orrick did not have a complete team, only bringing two golfers.
Chillicothe’s three junior varsity players also played 18 holes. Tyler Stephens had a 102, Keagan Valbracht and Ethan Gabrielson both shot 120s.
