The Chillicothe Police Officers handled 59 calls for service Sunday. Some of the calls include:
1:15 a.m., Officers took a report of a sex offense involving a juvenile in the 200 block of Montgomery St. Officers discovered the incident occurred in another jurisdiction and notified that agency.
4:03 a.m., Officers assisted the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with a residential fire in the 200 block of S. Herriford St.
5:27 a.m., Officers recovered stolen property in the 1300 block of Easton St.
7:21 a.m., Officers responded to a call about possible counterfeit U.S. currency in the 500 block of S. Washington St. The business will contact the bank for clarification.
4:14 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen on the phone about possible tampering with mail in the 1400 block of Lambert Dr.
6:48 p.m., Officers arrested a 39-year-old man on a Livingston County for a probation violation warrant after he turned himself in. The man was unable to post the $10,000 cash-only bond and was transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail.
