The Chillicothe City Council meets Monday evening with several items on the agenda. The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm at the CMU Office.
The Finance Chair, Tom Ashbrook will present ordinances to accept several bids. This includes the bids for street improvements, demolition of a structure at 1020 Cherry Street, concession supplies for Chilli Bay and for a Cold Planer/Asphalt Miller.
Angela Poling will present a request for a street closing and serving alcohol at an event in the Kelly Poling Arts District in October.
Kevin Shira will present a request to change zoning at the site of the old Garrison School.
The service contract for the Oats Bus will be presented, the city will consider selling property at 427 Reynard and 823 Jefferson and the contract for engineering services will be presented for approval.
The final item on the open agenda is the approval of a cooperative agreement with Main Street Chillicothe for the maintenance of Silvermoon Plaza.
A closed executive session is planned to follow the regular meeting to handle a real estate matter.
