The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 82 calls for service Friday. Some of the items in the report include the check of businesses in the overnight hours.
1:28 am, Officer located an unsecured business in the 2800 block of Grand Drive. The premises were searched and the owners came to the scene and secured the business.
Officers checked complaints of parking problems with numerous garage sales. Those attending the sales are advised to adhere to regular parking requirements and not block driveways, park on the wrong side of the road or in no-parking areas and avoid parking on private property.
5:30 pm, Officers responded to the 200 block of Herriford Street in reference to alleged child abuse. Upon further investigation, the children disclosed possible abuse and were removed from the home. This investigation is ongoing.
