The Traditional deadline for filing your state and federal Income Tax Returns is April 15th, but the filing date was extended this year to May 17th… That is Monday! Micheal Devine from the IRS says it is not too late to start on the filing.
Devine says if you are getting a refund, make sure the routing and account information is accurate so you get your money.
If you still feel you can not file in time, you can file for an extension, but remember that is only an extension to file, not pay.
