Two 15-year-old Braymer residents were injured in an ATV accident Thursday evening. State Troopers report the accident happened at about 7:45 pm on Sparks Road, west of Braymer. The driver, a 15-year-old boy, was southbound and lost control. The ATV ran off the road and struck the ditch. The driver and his passenger, a 15-year-old girl, had serious injuries and were both flown to Children’s Mercy Hospital. They were not wearing helmets.
