The Livingston County Public Water Supply District #2 is under a precautionary Boil Water Advisory. This is for the entire water district and will remain in place until further notice.
Under the Boil Water Advisory, customers should boil tap water used for cooking or drinking for three minutes.
Ice cubes made with tap water should be thrown out and remade with boiled water.
Surfaces that come in contact with raw or prepared foods, including dishes and countertops, should be sanitized with a solution of clean tap water and a teaspoon of bleach per gallon of water.
