The Chillicothe Police Department report for the start of the week includes nearly 230 calls for service.
Monday:
11:27 AM, Officers following up on a vehicle theft investigation from April 1st, in which the vehicle was recovered. The vehicle was recovered and through investigation and officers were able to obtain an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested in Columbiai.
9:10 PM, Officers were advised of juveniles stealing carts from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officers located the carts, but no suspects. Carts were returned.
Tuesday:
2:45 AM, Officers took a report of a missing juvenile. The 16-year-old had run away from home. The juvenile was located the next morning and was safe. Information was sent to the Juvenile officer.
3:45 AM, Dispatchers and Officers determined a stolen gun was pawned at a local pawn shop. The gun was stolen from St. Joseph in 2013. Officers are working with the pawnshop, the owner, and St. Joseph PD to obtain the gun and return it to SJPD.
8:00 PM, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street on a report of theft. The person had purchased some items and then stole some items. They were arrested, processed and released.
10:55 PM, Officers responded to the 2700 block of Washington Street for a woman causing a disturbance. Officers found the woman had possible suicidal issues and help her to seek assistance.
