The Chillicothe Mudcats baseball team begins their 2021 season on Wednesday with a new coach and new players.
Tyler Hudlow takes over as coach after former Coach Caleb Bounds accepted a new year-around college coaching position.
Hudlow says Bounds did a majority of player recruitment, and says he is excited about this year’s team.
Hudlow says the Mudcats should be fine in pitching and should have a very strong defense.
The Mudcats open the season at home tomorrow against Clarinda, Iowa at Shaffer Park. All Mudcat games will be heard live again this season on KCHI.
