The Livingston County Library will have a new Director as of August 1st. The Library Board of Trustees announced Sue Lightfoot-Horine as the new Director.
Lightfoot-Horine brings 13 years of experience as the director of the Carrollton Public Library. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and has many years of experience in budgeting, finance, and is an experienced grant writer. Lightfoot-Horine also serves as treasurer for the Missouri Evergreen Board.
According to Board President Sadie Beetsma, “The Board feels that Sue has the experience and skills to meet the needs of our library and to best serve our community.”
Lightfoot-Horine will replace current director Candy Warren starting August 1st. Warren had served as Director for the past 4 years. Warren will be staying at the library as coordinator of teen services.
