The number of COVID-19 cases in Livingston County is growing rapidly. As of Thursday, the number of cases has reached 1,791, with 133 active cases. Livingston County Health Center Administrator Sherry Weldon says they gather testing information and report it each day on their social media pages.
Weldon says in the past week there have been more than 500 tests administered, including the rapid test and the standard test. Those tests are administered at the Health center and at the hospital.
She talked about the preventative steps that can be taken.
The vaccine is available at all four pharmacies in Chillicothe and at the Livingston County Health Center, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Pfizer vaccine is also available at the Health Center for children age 12-17.
