Officers report Larry Smith, the man reported missing on June 6th has been located and is safe. The department thanks the community for the information provided.
11:36 am, a person was creating a disturbance at a business in the 300 block of S. Washington Street. Officers made contact with the subject and they were trespassed from the property.
3:21 pm, a person was creating a disturbance at Hedrick Medical Ctr. that person was contacted and calmed by Officer.
8:50 pm, Officers checking a report of calves and a goat at a property in the 200 block of E. Bridge Street. Officers located the owner at the home and advised them to remove animals from within City. Given a day to do so.
10:00 pm, Report of a subject in the area of Hedrick Medical Center attempting to injure themselves and suicidal. The person was contacted and was very belligerent and assaulted Officers. They were taken to the PD and then to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment where they refused treatment. A court order was issued and the person was transported to a mental health facility.
