The Sliced Bread Day Parade will be Saturday at 10:00 am through Downtown Chillicothe. The parade is sponsored and organized by Main Street Chillicothe and the director Pam Jarding says the parade will honor First Responders. Jarding says they also have a special guest as the Grand Marshal.
The parade will line up in several lots in the area of Polk and Washington. Jarding says there are 50 entries for the parade that will follow the normal parade route.
Some of the notable mascots in the parade will be Muddy from the Mudcats, KC Wolfe, Slugger, and the Pirate from NCMC.
