Chillicothe Police received 78 calls for service on Thursday.
At 12:11 am, Officers assisted Emergency Services on a medical call in the 700 block of Cowgill Street. The Subject was transported to Hedrick Medical Ctr. for treatment.
12:39 am, Report of subjects messing around cars in the 300 block of S. Washington Street. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone.
8:22 am, an officer in the Police Department contacted subjects to confirm the recovery of items believed to have been stolen. Items had been located.
8:33 am, Subject calling Police Department to provide Officers with information on illegal drug activity. Officer took the call.
8:48 am, Officers responded to the Police Department about a reported forgery. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that a male had forged the signature of a female. A report was taken and information was obtained and the investigation is continuing.
8:53 am, Officers out at Courthouse for Court duties….
10:36 am, Officers performed a motorist assist at the Junction of US 36 & US 65.
1:14 pm, Officers checking on a possible emergency call in the 1300 block of Monroe Street. Officers contacted the workers and found everything was OK.
3:21 pm, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Cooper Street for a Hit and Run accident report. Upon arriving on the scene Officers were able to get accurate details of a suspect vehicle and were able to locate the suspect. No one was injured in the accident and citations were issued to the suspect.
3:30 pm, Officers responded to the 600 block of Webster Street about a domestic disturbance. The incident was reported by a third party. Upon arrival, officers met with a female subject who stated that she had gotten into an argument earlier that day. The female stated she was moving out that day. No arrests were made.
3:27 pm, Officers responded to the 1200 Block of Webster Street about a non-injury, hit and run accident. A report was taken and information was collected.
3:54 pm, Officers out in the 1000 block of Second Street on a continuing investigation.
4:38 pm, Officers out in the 1400 block of Polk Street for public relations. Obtaining refreshments.
9:37 pm, Call of a possible fight on a parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Caller states that they may be fooling around. Officers to the scene and it was determined that no fight was occurring.
There were also numerous traffic stops, continuing investigations, and building security checks.
