An Illinois man driving a car with Arizona plates was arrested in Livingston County for excessive speed. Sheriff Steve Cox says at about Noon Thursday, a deputy was transporting three detainees to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail when they were passed by the vehicle clocked at 105 in a 65 zone.
The deputy put on the emergency lights and called for another officer. The vehicle was located in a construction zone, west of the point where the officer was passed. Deputies arrested 39-year-old Scott Ryan Ottersen of Plainfield, Illinois for the alleged excessive speed of 105 in a 65. Ottersen was processed and released with a Court Date in September.
