The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 122 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include:
1:12 am, Officers took a report of a possible assault in the 600 block of Clay Street from an individual that came to the Police Department. Written statements were taken and the investigation is ongoing.
9:40 am, Subject in PD to turn themselves in on an active warrant. Subject arrested and transferred to Court for an appearance that morning.
1:31 pm, Officers checking a vehicle parked at the side of the road in the 1900 block of N. Washington Street. Placed warning on the vehicle.
8:18 pm, Officers attempting to arrest a man in the 400 block of Clay Street on a warrant. The man fled on foot onto surrounding streets and through yards. The man was eventually caught by a Livingston County deputy on Woodward Street near Jackson Street. He was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, processed, and then transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
10:23 pm, Reported assault in the 1100 block of Walnut Street. A woman was found to be in possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia and wanted on a Probation/Parole violation warrant. She was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, processed, and transferred to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail awaiting extradition and filing of local charges.
