The use of Storage Containers in the residential areas of Chillicothe will no-longer be allowed. The Chillicothe City Council passed an ordinance this week prohibiting the use of storage and shipping containers. City Administrator Darin Chappell explains.
Chappell says there are exceptions, including during construction or moving.
He says this ordinance is retroactive and the city will allow 120 days for the containers to be removed from the property. Letters have been sent to those known to have these types of containers on their property. If you have questions, call City Hall at 646-2424.
