The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Volleyball team competed in a four team jamboree at Excelsior Springs last night.
Chillicothe split with Excelsior Springs, winning 15-11 and losing 5-15.
They lost both matches to Smithville 6-15 and 4-15 and lost two against Lawson 10-15 and 7-15.
In the jamboree format, all games were played to 15 points.
Coach Bob Long said Chillicothe Junior Jessica Reeter won eight points on her serve.
Chillicothe opens their season at home on September 2nd at 5:00pm against Trenton.
