The theft of a vehicle in Chillicothe led to an arrest following an investigation by Police and Sheriff’s Deputies. The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a report of a stolen car from a location on Graves Street. The vehicle was later recovered in Caldwell County and authorities found a pick-up was stolen from that location.
Sheriff Steve Cox says the Chief Deputy spotted the truck in Chillicothe, “driving in a dangerous manner.” An attempt was made to stop the truck, but the driver fled until the truck suffered a flat tire.
Deputies arrested was 29-year-old Mikall Ryan Foster of Chillicothe for alleged Tampering with Motor Vehicle, Assault on Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Methamphetamine. The Chillicothe Police have an additional charge of alleged Tampering with a Motor Vehicle. Additional charges are expected from Caldwell County.
Cox says Foster was interviewed and reportedly admitted stealing both vehicles. He also admitted the alleged use of methamphetamine. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
