The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team used what Coach Tim Cunningham called “an incredible team effort” to hand St Paul’s Lutheran of Concordia their first loss of the season in a 3-0 Chillicothe win.
Chillicothe scored off a Drake Cosgrove direct kick in the opening minute of the match. Chace Corbin scored in the 35th minute on a direct kick, assisted by Cosgrove.
In the second half, Cosgrove with a corner kick into the goal in the 53rd minute.
Jaxon Albertson had 7 saves in the match.
Coach Cunningham said the Hornets “from start to finish were locked in and just played a great match.”
St Paul’s won the JV match 2 to 1 with Jacob Adams scoring the lone Chillicothe JV goal.
