The Chillicothe Lady Hornets softball team beat St Joseph Bishop LeBlond
10-0 to win the Midland Empire Conference again. Chillicothe has now won 18 straight conference games dating back to September 24th 2019 and is currently on a 17-games winning streak in all varsity games.
The Lady Hornets big inning was a six-run second inning. Chillicothe scored 10 runs off 11 hits with no errors.
Chillicothe’s Kinlei Boley pitched the five-inning no hitter, striking out 14 of the 15 batters with no walks. the 15th out was a bunt to first base.
Chillicothe’s game at South Harrison, scheduled for Wednesday the sixth, has been cancelled by South Harrison, who will use the date to make good a conference game that night.
