An accident Monday in Clinton County left a Cameron woman with serious injuries. Troopers were called to the accident on Interstate 35, 5 miles south of Cameron. The report states, at about 9:55 pm, 24-year-old Kelcey Ross was southbound in the northbound lane and her car hit a pick-up that was northbound, head-on. The driver of the pick-up was not injured.
Ross was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She was not wearing a safety belt.
Troopers also arrested Ross for alleged DWI, careless and imprudent driving, no seatbelt, and no valid plates. She was processed and released at the hospital.
