The Chillicothe Middle School softball A team beat Milan 15-0 off eight hits and beat Putnam County 16 to 1, also off eight hits.
The 7th grade Hornets Football team improved to 2-2-1 on the season with a 30-16 win at Marshall, racking up over 300 yards of offense. Coach Reid Stephens said the team “really put together a great game”.
The 8th grade football team lost to Marshall 36 to 14. The Hornets scored on a Hubby Ralls 75 yards kick off return and a 45-yard Jack Marshall touchdown run.
The Middle School cross country team competed in Excelsior Springs with the Boys winning out of six full teams. Luke Thompson won the 1.5 miles course, Lake Englert 3rd and Litton Gabrielson 5th leading the way.
The lone CMS Girls medalist was Lydia Gabrielson in 5th.
