A home run in extra innings snapped the Chillicothe Lady Hornets winning streak in a 2-1 loss to Putnam County.
Chillicothe scored in the bottom of the first inning. Putnam County tied it in the seventh inning and won it in the eighth on a 2-2 count to the left field.
Chillicothe had five hits but three errors. Putnam County had four hits and one error.
Kinlei Boley took the loss, allowing two runs off four hits, striking out ten and walking just one.
The Lady Hornets now stand at 25-4.
The Chillicothe JV beat Putnam County 5 to 3 with Hadley Beemer throwing the complete game.
