The Chillicothe MDC office is buying seed from local residents. Missouri Department of Conservation Forester Samantha Anderson says the Chillicothe MDC office will purchase a variety of seeds from trees found in your own yard or on your property.
Anderson says the remaining seed buying days include all day today and on October 27th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Seeds will need to be brought to the MDC office near the Chillicothe Airport. They should be free of twigs, leaves, and other debris. If you have questions, call the office at 660-646-6122.
