The Chillicothe Hornets Volleyball team lost to the Benton Cardinals
24-26, 16-25 and 23-25 at Benton High School. The Hornets regular season and conference season come to an end. The Hornets are 1-6 in conference play. Seniors Gracie West and Claire Ripley had six kills each. Junior Jessica Reeter had eleven assists. Sophomore Delanie Kieffer and Jessica Reeter each had six digs. Juniors Anna Fisher and Jessica Reeter led the team with two aces each.
Hornet Junior Varsity won 25-12, 25-12. Freshman Allie West led the team with nine kills. Sophomore Maci Johnson led the team with 14 assists. Junior Madison Bergan, sophomore Delanie Clements and freshman Presley Rardon had four digs each.
Benton’s C-team was under quarantine and unable to compete.
The teams will have a rematch in the first round of Class 4 District 16 tournament on Thursday at Benton High School.
