The company that will tear down the old Litton Stadium, near Grand River Tech, is Perkins Dozing. The Chillicothe R-II School Board approved the recommendation from the Superintendent on the project.
The board received one comment of support during the meeting, which was from a neighbor to the stadium, Ken Lauhoff.
The demolition is only for the buildings and the concrete wall, not the track or field facilities.
