A 15-year-old Jamesport girl had minor injuries in a single-vehicle roll-over accident near Lock Springs. State Troopers report, Wednesday at 9:30 pm, the 15-year-old was eastbound on 190, a mile north of Lock Springs and rad off the left side of the road, overcorrected and ran off the right side and the pick-up overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. The driver was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment. She was wearing a safety belt.
State Troopers in Carroll County report the arrest of a Springfield man Wednesday morning. At about 8:40 am, Troopers arrested 60-year-old Johnny L Drake for alleged DWI – Habitual Offender, Driving While Revoked, No Valid Plates, No Seatbelt, and possessing the plates from another vehicle. Drake was processed at the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and later released.
