2:01 PM, Officers responded to the area of Samuel and Smith Street for a report of a fire. Officers arrived and gave warnings for ordinance violations to the subject who had started the fire. The fire was extinguished.
7:02 PM, Officers responded to the 700 block of Calhoun Street for a report of an open door to a closed business. Officers made contact with the business owner who stated they had forgotten to secure the door. The door was secured.
7:44 PM, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Jackson Street for a theft report. It was reported to Officers that an item was taken from a home some time throughout the day when the residence was left unsecured. The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been identified at this time.
