The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 76 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
1:04 am, Officers doing premises check at closed business 500 block of Cherry Street, where the department received 911 calls from and no one was online. The building was checked and secure.
2:41 am, Subject in PD to report stolen vehicle from 400 block of Walnut Street. Information was taken and suspect named. Investigation continuing
7:30 am, Officer responded to a single-vehicle accident where a vehicle traveled off the roadway in the 1600 block of Bryan Street and struck a utility pole. There were no injuries and the vehicle was towed.
9:27 am, Officer out in the 10 block of S. Washington Street to execute an arrest warrant. a 29-year-old subject was arrested on a Caldwell County warrant, transported to the PD and later released to Caldwell County authorities.
1:23 pm, Officers received a phone call from Children Services informing them of a juvenile possibly being abused. Officers responded to the 400 block of Walnut Street and spoke with the reporting party. The juvenile was taken into protective custody. Investigation continuing.
4:42 pm, Officers executed an arrest warrant in the 400 block of Walnut Street for a previously reported stolen vehicle. Subject transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
9:50 pm, Domestic disturbance was reported in the 1200 block of Hogan Street. 39-year-old male subject arrested for Domestic Assault and transported to the PD, processed and released. The victim left residence for a protected area.
