The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 133 calls for service Tuesday. Some of the calls included well-being checks and follow-up investigations.
4:12 am, Officer stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights illuminated in the 600 block of W. Business 36. Circumstances led to a search of the vehicle and a controlled substance and paraphernalia were confiscated. Investigation continuing.
10:49 am, Officers out in the 800 block of Walnut with a person suffering from anxiety issues. Subject voluntarily accepting treatment and evaluation at Hedrick Medical Center.
1:15 pm, Call from a person about their daughter possibly being victim to fraud/identity theft. Investigation continuing.
2:22 pm, Subject on bicycle struck a vehicle on a parking lot in the 300 block of Third Street. The rider complained of arm pain and was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
2:58 pm, Officers stopped a subject on a moped for traffic violations near Cherry and Jackson Streets and upon investigation, it was found that the subject was driving while suspended in Missouri. The driver was arrested, processed, and released with citations.
